About Us

At the age of seven Jessica found her first camera. Jessica shot as many photos as her small camera would allow. At the age of 19, she joined the Navy to pursue a new and interesting career in combat photography only to an end, and a new dream developed – photography. The camera hasn’t left her hands since.

Jessica focused her gaze on the enchanting world of children’s photography after the birth of her child, Jocelin. Launching Jessica Wood Photography has enabled her to pursue her passion: providing families with the precious gift of unique, custom photographic art to treasure forever. Jessica is a natural, friendly person. She believes in complete and personal service to all clients.

As a former photographer for the United States Navy, Jessica Wood brings years of experience in a wide array of photography styles to her work. While serving in military, Jessica received an education at the prestigious Ft. Meade Photography. She then went on to perform studio photography, re-enlistments, retirements, casualties (personnel & equipment), crime scenes and customer service. She also photographed actual and simulated battle operations as well as documentary and newsworthy events. In addition, this experience also gave her the opportunity to shoot all over the world in places such as Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, Guam, Korea, and Kuwait.

Jessica Wood Photography was created out of Jessica’s experience and passion for the art of photography. She is currently offering packages for weddings, bridal, maternity portraits, newborn portraits, candid photos of children, sporting events, pet portraits, and any celebration or major event.
